What does all this mean? Pence knows. We don't.
Speculation is swirling around the vice president regarding what he may or may not do, and what he is legally permitted or required to do, when ballots from the electors show up in Washington on January 6. The vice president is charged by the Constitution's 12th Amendment with opening the ballots from the electors. Given that, what do these events mean: Read And Comment.
Is this election politics -- or war?
Can we reverse that to assert that politics is just war by other means? Three military officers are suggesting that about this election. Thomas McInerney is a political commentator and a retired Air Force Lieutenant General, who served in top military positions under the President of the United States and Secretary of Defense. Church can help you cope with the Kung Flu
We know that regular church attendance improves our emotional well-being. Pew Research, for example, found two years ago that actively religious people are more likely than their less-religious peers to describe themselves as “very happy.” Now we learn from Gallup that only those who attended religious services weekly saw a positive change between 2019 and 2020 in how they rated their mental health. May you live in interesting times ~ The Don
Former Green Beret, now Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller[/caption] Never bet against The Donald, and never underestimate him. Here are some of the possible big things. 1. State legislators act. The Constitution gives them the right to direct the manner in which electors will be chosen in their states, Adam Mill writes. In 2000, the Supreme Court noted  that, “the state legislature’s power to select the manner for appointing electors is plenary,” and that, “it may, if it so chooses, select the electors itself.” Read And Comment.
Chris and John hold a hug-a-thon
He seems nice.[/caption] Chris Wallace's interview with John Brennan on Sunday raises many questions. Why did Chris choose to interview an NBC and MSNBC "analyst?" Why now? Why did Chris let the former CIA director get away with outright lies? He's Read And Comment.
Joe and John want you to eat bugs and weeds
"Then we'll tell them to eat bugs." And drink sewage. Joe Biden and John Kerry are alike in every way except hair. Both have slopped at the public trough for decades, preening in the slavish adoration of a complicit media. Both are stupid. Both are fools. Both reassure us that anyone whose giant ego has superceded their modest intelligence can have a brilliant career in government. Read And Comment.
Has anyone actually seen John Durham?
He's the U.S. Attorney in Connecticut supposedly investigating the coup against President Trump. He got that assignment in May 2019. Since then, all we know about him is that he posed for the rather stern photo on the right. Perhaps that's meant to reassure us. Read And Comment.
The Reporters: The great election bluff
Things you won't learn by skimming. In a Power Game, Victory Goes to the Daring. We are seeing the biggest power play in United States history since 1876 or even 1861. The Democrats—the insiders, not the mass of zombies—know what they have done. The Republicans know. And the latter—through control of key legislatures, as well as their legacy on the U.S. Supreme Court—hold the best cards. Read And Comment.
Crazy Years: Stay on the ladder, you can vote
The AP is advising reporters to avoid using the terms "crazy/crazed, nuts or deranged." ~ World News Daily You can't say "crazy" because we're supposed to pretend all this is normal: Read And Comment.
Where will the censorship end?
Censorship of the Biden corruption story by big tech and the corporate media had a major effect on the election. A Media Research Center (MRC) poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates found that 36 percent of Biden voters were not aware of the evidence behind claims that Joe Biden was personally involved in his son Hunter’s business deals with China. Thirteen percent of those voters (4.6 percent of Biden’s total vote) said that if they had known the facts, they would not have voted for Biden. Read And Comment.
The resurrection of the Stasi
Amid all that's going on I happened to catch a TV show about the Stasi, East Germany's agency of control. The Ministry for State Security—commonly known as the Stasi—wiretapped, bugged, and tracked citizens. It steamed open letters and drilled holes in walls. Read And Comment.
Let the air in your home fight the virus
Now that we're closing our windows we can still take several precautions with the air in our homes. Open windows. Yes, just leave them open and deal with it. Read And Comment.
Will our military attempt a coup?
Serious people are asking. "A number of President Trump's most implacable critics are fantasizing about deploying the U.S. military to remove him from the White House on Jan. 20, 2021, based on their assumption that a.) he will lose the election, and b.) he will refuse to leave office on his own," Byron York writes. Among those thinking about it are two reitred Army officers, Paul Yingling and John Nagl, who published an open letter to Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, arguing that Trump may have to be forceably removed from the White House if he loses the election. Where do they get such fantasies? This is it. This is the coup.
As I write, on November 7, 2020, the media are calling the election for Joe Biden, Trump is refusing to concede, and this is all according to the plan. I assumed it was just a slip of the tongue from a troubled mind when Biden said: Read And Comment.
Yet another time they stole an election
In the 2018 midterm election, Democrats gained a net total of 40 U.S. House seats, 17 more than the 23 seats they needed to win control of the House. This led to two years of harrassment of the President and to his impeachment by the House. How did it happen? There's no doubt that the fraudulent investigation of "Russian collusion" contributed to voter doubt about President Trump. Read And Comment.

"We live in an age in which it is no longer possible to be funny. There is nothing you can imagine, no matter how ludicrous, that will not promptly be enacted before your very eyes, probably by someone well known."
