[caption id="attachment_2152" align="alignright" width="300"]dick "You're not allowed to think that!"[/caption] Censorship of the Biden corruption story by big tech and the corporate media had a major effect on the election.

A Media Research Center (MRC) poll conducted by McLaughlin & Associates found that 36 percent of Biden voters were not aware of the evidence behind claims that Joe Biden was personally involved in his son Hunter’s business deals with China. Thirteen percent of those voters (4.6 percent of Biden’s total vote) said that if they had known the facts, they would not have voted for Biden.

That's just one instance of The Left's censorship pogrom. You already know about the media and big tech. Now consider:

WordPress just had to get into it, as well. WordPress is used by more than 60 million websites, including 33.6% of the top 10 million websites as of April 2019. WordPress decided to kick a popular conservative blog, The Conservative Treehouse, off its platform. This means the censorship has moved to web hosting sites. The next step would be Internet Service Providers, who provide access to the Internet. Would they be interested in blocking ideas they don't like. Uh, yes.

The largest collection of public internet censorship data ever compiled shows that even citizens of what are considered the world's freest countries aren't safe from internet censorship.

"When the United States repealed net neutrality, they created an environment in which it would be easy, from a technical standpoint, for ISPs to interfere with or block internet traffic," said Roya Ensafi, University of Michigan assistant professor of electrical engineering and computer science who led the the study. "The architecture for greater censorship is already in place and we should all be concerned about heading down a slippery slope." It's already happening abroad, the researchers found.

Is there yet a higher authority who could get in the game? Sure. It's the companies who comprise what is known as the Internet's backbone. These are called Tier 1 providers, and they include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, SingTel, Pacific Internet, Japan Telecom, Telstra, China Telecom and British Telecom. AT&T, you will not be comforted to know, also owns ... CNN. Then, of course, governments control the Internet and censor things they don't like. That, of course, can't happen here. Oh wait ...
