Why is The Left so violent?

Here's the latest of many examples. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said late on Monday night that Antifa attacked his home in Washington, D.C., and threatened his wife and newborn baby. “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley wrote on Twitter. “They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door.

What causes this?

Violence as always been a tool of The Left. It was used with abandon in the Soviet Union. And in China, of course. "A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.” ~ Mao Tse-tung

Violence is employed when persuasion fails, because the argument is weak or just plain dangerous. One more quote: “See, people with power understand exactly one thing: violence.” ~ Noam Chomsky
