The sitcom My Three Sons ran from 1960 to 1972, chronicling the life of widower Steven Douglas, played by Fred McMurray, as he raised his three sons. Today, thanks to the DC Entertainment Network, fans of this show can binge on updated episodes. The new version features these three sons:
Joe and Hunter. Joe Biden’s younger and wayward son was being paid tens of thousands of dollars a month to be on the board of a Ukrainian energy company — despite having exactly zero qualifications for the post other than his last name.
It is also a matter of record that President Barack Obama tasked Joe Biden with managing US relations with Ukraine at the time. Joe Biden needs to explain why his threats to withhold aid to Ukraine, about which he publicly boasted, were legitimate. It was as a pressure tactic to force the firing of a prosecutor he did not like. Apparently Hunter benefited financially from the firing of that prosecutor.
Nancy and Paul. Paul Pelosi, Jr., Rep. Nancy Peloi’s son, recently appeared on Ukrainian television to talk about his business in the country. Another video may shed light on the Ukrainian interest by the Pelosi family: “Paul Pelosi Jr. is a member of management team of Viscoil Group of Companies and NRGLab. Paul Pelosi Jr. is interested in developing clean energy that can replace gasoline and diesel as transportation fuel sources.” Pelosi’s son traveled to Ukraine in 2017 on behalf of the Corporate Governance Initiative, where he now serves as executive director.
This is not Paul Pelosi’s first potential brush with scandal. Back in 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged a company co-founded by Pelosi Jr. with fraud after learning that two convicted criminals were running the business.
John and Christopher. John Kerry’s stepson rushed to play damage control at the State Department after his business partner Hunter Biden cut a deal with an oligarch-owned Ukrainian gas company in 2014, according to internal State Department correspondence obtained by the Washington Examiner. At the time, Hunter Biden, now 49, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of then-Secretary of State John Kerry, co-owned Rosemont Seneca Partners, a $2.4 billion private equity firm. Heinz’s college roommate, Devon Archer, was managing partner in the firm. In the spring of 2014, Biden and Archer joined the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company that was at the center of a U.K. money laundering probe. Over the next year, Burisma reportedly paid Biden and Archer’s companies over $3 million.
“This email raises a lot of questions. Why would Chris Heinz distance himself from Hunter Biden’s decision to join Burisma’s board in an email to John Kerry’s senior staff at the State Department?” said Citizens United President David N. Bossie.
“No wonder President Donald Trump has been the target of so much political hatred since he announced his candidacy and through his presidency,” Leslie Eastman writes. The politically connected have much to protect, and parents are highly protective of their children.”
