Some reporting you may have missed.

recyclingWhy it’s not worth recycling plastic. NPR turned up a wealth of evidence that producers of plastics have cynically promoted the virtues of recycling for decades – thus encouraging consumers to think it’s fine to use more – all while knowing full well that most plastic (more than 90%) is never recycled. It is far cheaper and more profitable to make new plastic (from oil and gas) than to recycle it. But in order to keep selling new plastic, the industry had to “greenwash” its wasteful image by embracing recycling, according to Larry Thomas, ex-president of a plastics industry trade association.

COVID Fear Isn’t The Kitchen Sink – But It’s Close. Perhaps it’s worthwhile remembering what all of this opposition is about…. Something 99% of American voters do not quite understand. Congress doesn’t actually write legislation. The last item of legislation written by congress was sometime around the mid 1990’s. Modern legislation is sub-contracted to a segment of DC operations known as K-Street. That’s where the lobbyists reside. Lobbyists write the laws; congress sells the laws; lobbyists then pay congress lucrative commissions for passing their laws. That’s the modern legislative business in DC.

A Rundown Of Major U.S. Corporate Media’s Business Ties To China. Despite the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) record of oppression, corporate media outlets are parroting the authoritarian government’s propaganda, even in the midst of an outbreak the CCP worsened through a cover-up. Many of those media outlets have financial ties to Chinese companies with intense oversight from the CCP. “You often see representatives from American companies with financial ties to China naturally become defenders of the CCP’s policies and spreading the CCP’s propaganda,” said Helen Raleigh, an author and senior contributor at The Federalist who emigrated from China. Forced Denunciations And ‘Sensitivity Training’ Mimic Communist Brainwashing Tactics. Agitators for critical race theory have fanned out of academia into mind-hacking workaday Americans, trying to convince them the nation is unredeemably evil. They doggedly attempted to do this to federal employees as well as all big corporations. The goal is to indoctrinate employees with neo-Marxist rhetoric that portrays America as a “white supremacist” nation. Critical race theory and communist tactics are pretty much interchangeable. It’s really all about brainwashing. Google is handing anyone's personal information to police if they happen to search for keywords related to an investigation. Unsealed court documents reveal that Google has provided police with information on users simply based on their keyword searches - an action that some say could be a violation of US civil rights.  According to a CNET report, published on Saturday, officers have asked the tech giant to hand over the IP addresses of everyone who had looked up words relevant to their particular investigations. Ordinarily, police would have to hone in on an individual suspect before giving Google a warrant that orders them to provide that person's search history - but 'keyword warrants' subvert such a practice.

"We live in an age in which it is no longer possible to be funny. There is nothing you can imagine, no matter how ludicrous, that will not promptly be enacted before your very eyes, probably by someone well known."
~ Malcolm Muggeridge
